House won't be ready until the end of the year.

I'm going to pass close by, but not that close by.

    No worries.
It will be good to see you.
We'll inspect the rough draft and tell you where you're going wrong.

I was asked why some songs weren’t played on the radio anymore..
My excuse was the performers have either died or nowadays the DJs have a set playlist
It seems one of the songs he likes is
I told him it was actually around 30 minutes if played in full.
    Another is

    maybe I’ve done something right..

Someone mentioned they hate Trucking. I’ve been doing a little yard work for a couple days. The Trucks looking pretty good right now. That’s why I think everyone should have at least one Job, when they’re young, where doing dishes, mopping floors and cleaning toilets is part of it.

I agree. I've done everything from fast food to corrections. When I have to be, I'm a great people person; despite hating most people.

Well, if it breaks down, you're still on the clock.

Owning a truck is every day worrying what comes next?
I've been really fortunate that it hasn't happened that much.
It's been good to me. But I'm done.

Nothing says good time like 3 hours after your appointment time you still don't even know when you'll be getting loaded.

True story. In 1953 I was driving an F8 Ford with a big ole Nabors 30' reefer.
We had to buy our own radios. AM, Western Auto, screw on bracket under dash.
Radar was new in MS. Box set on pipe pole roadside, car backed off in bushes
with the leads to readouts. 2nd man down the road to pick you up on command.
My little radio would begin to static loudly when I got in range. Ran by this site
every Wednesday evening and finally made the connection. Proud of the radio.

Not near as much fun as NC back then. They used the 2 cables across the
road that timed your speed between. Car in the brush at 2nd one. We ran flatbed
bale cotton up to the mills and loaded back in B'ham, AL. So, empty back across NC.
Great sport to barrel thru the night; see a black cable, jerk the hand valve and lightly
skid the cable from its fasteners. Speed would have dropped also and readout was
messed up. We referred to them as Whammy's back then. Truckin was fun back then.
