Where I wasn’t sure I had it around my neck.

If a store manager asks I’ll put it on, but I’m not volunteering to do it. This crap has to end sometime.

Here in Maine, presuming you have been jabbed. Only the store dictates if you must wear a mask. Tho to me it is interesting to see how many out there feel that insecure to need to wear a mask.

Admittedly it is a PIA. One thing I have noticed is that I seem to be having less allergy problems than previous.

Well, while sleeping in, I hear a “Dad, there a snake on the porch.”

My thoughts **Great, Just what I wanted to hear.**
    Answer... “Alright..”
So I go outside, armed with a shotgun, a shovel and a hoe from utility room.
Upon reroofing the house, the dude left an extra pack of shingles on the porch, so of course, that’s snake boys hiding spot.
So, had to take the hoe and pull the shingles back, while he was striking the hoe, then whack him, of course the first whack hit him across the back, and I thought I heard a...
“Oww!! You son of a...” before another strike hit him upside the head.

    So.
Now, no one wants to go outside, so why was this a big problem?

I don’t know one snake from another, but it won’t be striking any of my dogs.

There are good snakes...and dangerous snakes. It's good to learn the difference.

He was bad, should’ve kept moving on, not taking a 10 by the front door.
Plus he didn’t have on his covid mask.

All snakes are good about keeping "critters" away. Same can be said for spiders. Generally in North America, if they have a triangular-shaped head and a midsection much wider than the tail or the area just behind the head OR red touches yellow LEAVE THEM ALONE! As someone who has been bitten three times you can trust me, it doesn't feel good! I might also add the US has no Coral Snake antivenom (red touches yellow), and Crofab can be VERY expensive!

yeah, well, with 4 dogs, one that stays outside, the snakes can stay out in yard, but not staying at my doorstep.
Or in the house, I’ve killed 3 inside before

Housing shortage. WSJ says 1 in 5 homes is being bought by private equity firms.
