Our town I believe gets the water by gravity from Long Pond. Tho most of the locals wont use it. The amount that the town charges to use Long Pond water is half the cost per year of drilling a well. So mostly the water feeds the fire hydrants.

The well here is 280' deep. It has never run dry for the wife and I. Tho the pump is only 206' down the pipe. The water is only 20' down from ground level. So we have almost 270 gallons of water that the 1 hp pump can remove. As well as 3gpm recovery.

On a side note. Here is some of the local destruction.
Rain washes out multiple coastal Maine roads

Like the Tom Cat said. Ya gotta make calls to get results; but 7 times roaming, risking all those lives.
    Maybe a little needy?

Any vet clinic in Lexington. KY has all info posted. G/daughter at UK (animal
science) volunteers once a month to the monthly transgendering of the trapped...

    Well.
That load fell through, at least I’m at the house.
Found another that loads 45 mile from here, until I found out it was BRAN.
Don’t load until 1700, Going to KC, by the time you get there it’d be easier to unload concrete.
So...Taking a line from the kids..
    “I’m bored..!”
Sitting here with feet propped up, in A/C house..can eat dinner whenever I want...
You know, now that I think of it, maybe this won’t be bad for another day, maybe two, been empty since Monday..

Good luck waiting for Fins and Feathers to call back. I always go through their telephone tree about four times and have to be forcibly restrained from taking out my .45 and shooting the telephone. If I really need to talk to a game warden I can go to my cousin's house after work. He doesn't like our telephone tree.
