So I changed oil, had a little rain, not bad, had the wrong fuel filter. Got filter, starts pouring down. Wiper breaks on pick up. Lol. Went from heatwave to chilly in minutes.

You know, my teacher once told me, I'd never get anywhere in life looking out the window.

I think I've proved her wrong.

I rear ended a car this morning...the driver got out of the other car, and he was a dwarf!!
He looked up at me and said "I am NOT Happy!"
So I said, "Well, which one ARE you then?"
That's how the fight started, officer.

    That ain’t right...

I bought the top of the line 3blade wipers at loves about 3 months ago while on sale. One of them disentergrated. One of the blades started to slip out and then the other two fell out too. So I bought the $8 ones to replace it.

That 3 hours of detention on that load did require us to PC back to truck stop cause our clock ran out. 3 miles.

This turned our 21 mile DH into a 27 mile DH. The OM is contacting our most esteemed members to find out how we can be additionally compensated for those 6 miles.

on an older car real easy:

On our old Mustangs me and Dad ran a wire from the coil to the back of the cigarette lighter. Lighter no longer worked. But lighter in = coil not enough juice to fire the plugs and not enough juice to pop the lighter. Lighter out car runs fine until passenger pushes in the lighter going down the freeway..........

Most driver today probably don't remember the floor mount dimmer switches....... Or a clutch for that matter

One of my most confusing days driving cars was when I ran my sedan over to the parents to do some work. Column shift auto.
Hopped in my 50 Plymouth to go get a part. 3 on the tree.
Dad needed something heavy from the hardware store. Granny 4 on the floor.
Dad and I both needed something small from the hardware store. Took moms car to "Blow the carbon Out". Floor shift auto.

Hopped back in my daily driver sedan and had to take inventory of shifter and clutches to figure out how to drive the thing.

InTooDeep, okiedokie, MACK E-6 and 7 others Thank this.
