Work today? No.
Work on Monday. Yet there are headaches (joys of being financially challenged). The mower is 17 years old. The mower has a gear box. It is starting to pound furiously. I need it to hold together till after I mow two more lawns. The lawns will only be 125 earned. Alas the gear box that needs bearings? The manual has no listing for the gearbox parts. Just replace it. Just a mere $500. Normally it would be no problem. Alas this month alone I have seen almost 2 grand in costs go out the door. LOL I am grateful this month will be done in a few days.
Can I start a go fund me campain here in this group alone? Like TTR would allow that. LOL
What if it Snows?

We have advanced the load another 426 miles. The indigenous population of I-40 has washed it's feet, dawned it's make-up, eaten it's Cinnabons and pop tarts, and has fully taken to the highway.

Had the same problem with by gear box on my bush hog, picked one up for 450.00$ taxes in. Just finished installing it this afternoon. My new gear box didn't have any oil in it, good thing I checked that or would have to buy another one. Takes 80 x 90 rear end oil, at least mine does. I have my old gear box here with me, was ready to throw it away but I'm thinking there may be a core charge, could significantly reduce my over all cost. Something for you to look into lovesthedrive. I hope July is easier on your pocketbook.Rideandrepair, Dale thompson, dwells40 and 4 others Thank this.

Coming back from this morning’s delivery I noticed that most of the non-drivers that are too stupid to run a steady pace had PA plates.
With my cruise set at 60 one of these idiots hauling a camper would fly by me at 65-70 only to come back over and slow down to 57.
That was exactly the issue I was hoping to avoid. I called the guy I was delivering to last night to see how early he could take it. He said “you tell me”. I can have it there by 7. “No problem”.
At 6:45 I pull in the lot, pull the knobs, stretch out and take a nap. I wake up a bit later to see I missed a call from the guy so I call him back.
“How long until you get there”?
Really??
I said I been here. “Ok give me 10 minutes”… which was actually 20 minutes.
He showed up in a jacked up Chevy truck, backed up to the trailer, and I liftgated the skid into the back. That part was a lot easier than holding my tongue after hearing the dummy say “your company doesn’t do what they say they’ll do”.
Yeah right pal.
I #### sure did what I said I would do. Why the hell didn’t you??Rideandrepair, Dale thompson, 77fib77 and 7 others Thank this. -
Maybe he's been burned by other drivers from your company, so he didn't think you'dmeet your eta? I know I've got some brokers who will work with me, but not other drivers with my company.Rideandrepair, Dale thompson, LoSt_AgAiN and 3 others Thank this.

Being that this was a residential I doubt it, but anything’s possible. Still though, it would’ve been nice to have been told that so I would know what to expect.Rideandrepair, Dale thompson, LoSt_AgAiN and 3 others Thank this.
