I have a first draft solution to a problem that many of us have encountered:

Install a heavy wire mesh cover over the bathroom sinks in the truck stop.

Off to one side, maybe between the stalls and the urinals, install "foot showers".

I'm thinking the time-tested military model: Drain grating installed in the floor, running the length of the wall, 5 high-pressure shower heads directed toward the floor, pull chain to activate and soap dispenser mounted at chest height on the wall.

Expand as needed to fill space.

State-of-the-art touchless automatic fixtures with all the bells and whistles can be developed later. We need to concentrate on the critical infrastructure immediately.


For that matter, every Love's has a spigot on the front side of every fuel island, why not just hop out and wash your feet there? You're already parked there taking your 30.

Oh, and no potato chip hoarding, please. The oil made it bang on the dot of 0900, and there was one potato truck on the dumper with another waiting his turn as I arrived!

 

OR, we could just report these individuals and they be fined the cost of a shower? Maybe then they'd just use the shower room like civilized humans? This would put more money in the pockets of the truckstop owners, then they might build more truckstops where certain populations have a higher density.
