You want to know what the difference is between us and the kids these days? Our parents. Bit of a rant. So don't take personal. Give him chores. He's got all day to do it. Either early when it's cool. Or the heat of the day. Doesn't do it. Loses [insert game system] till he does. Still doesn't. Loses TV...etc. If you want him to succeed. YOU need to be the parent and teach him. Just like our parents did.
What if it Snows?

Most people dont realize that fireworks absorb water from the air. Unless the store has the AC cranked up. The buyers need to put fireworks in a area where fireworks are going to dry for a week. Otherwise you can expect alot of fizzling and sputtering. Winter time is best for fireworksLoSt_AgAiN, Dale thompson, Rideandrepair and 4 others Thank this.

Usually I’m not here to make him do it, and all I do is get into an argument with his mom, so I just try to entertain myself with the though one day he’ll grow up and learn, but I doubt it.
I can go throw a fit, make him do it, then I’ll hear about it for a month.
I can put away the game consoles, computer, phone, until things are done, which still won’t be done, leave out, come back his mom gives the things back, so no support there, so I just let them figure it out, but he’s in for an awakening when he moves, as he won’t get anything from me, might, just might, get a $500 savings account for starters.
But then I’m done.
I worked for everything I have, including first bike.
Without that, travel was on foot, that’s why I see his bike thrown in the yard, not using kickstand, he don’t care, mom will buy him a new oneLoSt_AgAiN, Dale thompson, Rideandrepair and 5 others Thank this. -
