Be sure to check the oil level, a few times after running a bit. Stop, give it a while to drain level. Usually have to add some hub oil. Then check it after being parked for the night, to get the exact level.

Thanks for the info i will keep an eye on it with my temp gun. I noticed the breather tube is filled with dirt as well, wonder if that contributed to my leaking seal, running on the dusty quarry roadsLoSt_AgAiN, Dave_in_AZ, 77fib77 and 3 others Thank this.

Any dirt or off-road work. I’ve been told by the Dump Truck Owners, and Loggers, that seals, u joints, any moving part only lasts about half as long as Road Truck.LoSt_AgAiN, Speed_Drums, Dave_in_AZ and 2 others Thank this.
