Think there was a mention of it in the areas of a "Fire Scar".
Add wildfire uphill prior, then drought that killed any recovery, then heavy adjoining creek flood due to recent rains and all the loose stuff turned loose and cascaded down. Nature at its best.Took out a lot of elevated roadbed.

Similar to I40 between Knoxville and Asheville a few years ago. That was not near as bad as bigger chunks and a fairly level/stable road base to work from.

This is rock powder, pebbles, chunks, boulders, and what is left of the supported roaded and walled curbing.

Never studied the problem in that depth. Just arrived at where I wanted to turn and swung wide enough to clear the curbing , cranked it around and if some obstacle remained to close, sat there looking down on him till he backed up or made other escape. I was young and impetuous then and cut a pretty wide swath... Know what I mean, Vern?

Math is a big weakness for me. My brain just can't compute it properly. I tried watching the video and it was just as revolting as watching two men kiss.

Seriously: TTR needs to add a "My Sympathy" reply in the options...

Whole thing will be misconstrued. Your picture will appear full page on PETA "s monthly news rag with a heart wrenching story praising your action. Such loving care.

I could tell you a story about a three-stop delivery to Frisco, Glenwood Springs, and Grand Junction that I had last week. The cotrip.org map showed it open when I was coming back, but it was closed. (The road signs were indefinite.) But I got paid for the miles, so it was ok by me.

With the last few days of rain in the area, there has been a good amount of flooding in and around SLC. Might want to double check your delivery location, see if they are having any problems.
