    I have a question. My one cousin was looking at Maine. And one thing that kind of turned him off to it was a dude told him you guys have a tick problem.

    Dude said the ticks are plentiful.

    True or false?

    Lyme disease is one of the most reported infectious diseases in Maine. In 2018, the incidence rate of Lyme disease was 105 per 100,000 people. The incidence rate of anaplasmosis rose from 1.3 to 35.6 per 100,000 from 2010 to 2018.

    A close friend of his; his sister got Lyme disease and it f'd her up. That left a mark on both of them.

    Seems Maine, Connecticut and those states have been hit hard by ticks and Lyme. Last few years a friend in Mass. has not been doing near the camping/hiking they used to because of that.

    What about the Callisto effect?


    the basic premise of Callisto effect is that the creature/virus/predator will continue evolving and taking on traits along the way that will make it the ultimate predator.
