I had a broker try to explain to me, how double brokering is ok.
If he can’t get five load moved, he can sale it to another broker.
I told him to raise the rate, and the load would be moved.
Silence was on the other end of phone.. mind blowing, I guess.homeskillet, Speed_Drums, Rideandrepair and 8 others Thank this. -
The dying and retiring of the old hands; plus the wising the hell up by some, don't leave many to pass the knowledge on.
At times you really zone in and tell/teach/share. You get an open and interested reception. Good. You do the same thing with some of he meatheads of today and it is hard to keep them in sight, let alone their attention. They are so far ahead of the whole worlds knowledge and can't pour it out of a boot with the instructions written on the heel.Cowboyrich, homeskillet, Rideandrepair and 6 others Thank this. -
Not even The Son knows the exact time. Only The Father.
And if The Son doesn't know, one thing you can bet your bottom dollar on, is no one else does.homeskillet, Rideandrepair, lovesthedrive and 6 others Thank this. -
I been waiting for someone to say, “What would your grandfather say to your thoughts on all this death and being trapped, because I got the perfect answer.
He’d say, “Someone open this gosh darn lid, it’s dark In here!! This was a great idea, bury someone 6 feet deep!!! What’re you scared of...zombies?!”
That ain’t right...
Told ya, weird sense of humor.
But I do believe what I typed a few minutes ago.Rideandrepair, lovesthedrive, 77fib77 and 4 others Thank this. -
Fair enough Judge, but it says Go and tell ... And as you outlined, it is captive salesmanship. But, what if; the person who told you, made his decision from that source? Had he missed it, possibly you would not have it today.

How come McDonald's in like Nebraska, Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, all tastes good. Hot. Still reasonably priced to cheap.
And McDonald's in states where there's an ocean is runny dog ####?Cowboyrich, homeskillet, dwells40 and 8 others Thank this. -

Interesting remembrances along those lines....... I have consumed a bunch of McD's though out my life. The best I have had was both times I ate from the one at Laguna Seca. The place is only open for big events. I think the key thing is they bring in a fresh batch of stuff for the event, And when the event ends it gets moved to the owner's other stores. Don't know how long the stuff sits in the stores but dang what a difference......
I was once told the best McD's to get is at the corporate training facility, cause it's all fresh.Rideandrepair, lovesthedrive, LoSt_AgAiN and 5 others Thank this. -
Not saying you're wrong, but the number of times when this has occurred is uncountable.homeskillet, Rideandrepair, lovesthedrive and 3 others Thank this.
