4500 miles this week 90 hours (hos exempt) and ive been chasing wiring for the last 3 hours in the pouring rain because i lost my frickin brake lights on the trailer.... Rewired a new 7 way on the truck and trailer , put a new plug on, still nothing so started chasing the brake light wire from the plug , couldnt get any power ... wtf.... So we checked the fuse panel and sure enough , that good for nothing reefer must of had a short to ground on the brake lights and popped my fuse. Threw in a new one and were working again. And we have brand new electrical plugs as well.....
This was the truck side plug. Corroded all to hell. Abs pin completely corroded off into the plug. That explains why everytime i hit a bump my abs light flashes.

Pulled in to fuel at the Berthoud Loves, and WTF? Don't see the OM though, so maybe there's more than one WhiteFreightliner pulling a Landstar trailer.
Just 484 miles to the first stop in Albuquerque.Last edited: Aug 22, 2021

Wasn't this the good ol' boy who took an illegal load of Coors from Texarkana to Atlanta?Last edited: Aug 22, 2021

The aluminum wheels are the first clue that the OM wasn’t there.77fib77, Speed_Drums, Rideandrepair and 10 others Thank this.

That's usually the way it works down here. I had the trees pulled, took the first three cuts off the trunk, and the rest was sold by the ton to a chipper. They had a big tub grinder and fed it with a 966 and a JD excavator. Fast, clean, and no hassle.Rideandrepair, LoSt_AgAiN, Cattleman84 and 3 others Thank this.

It's been awhile since I hauled a load of chips.

So here is a question. Does the weight of one truck on the way down, help lift the other truck on the way up?Bud A., Dale thompson, Rideandrepair and 5 others Thank this.

Have you ever stayed in the Truck when you was dumping your load Okie? Years ago I hauled many loads of wood chips, had my own contract for awhile. Sometimes at night when it was dark I would stay in the Truck and catch some sleep. Different experience.
