Coat your new pins with dielectric grease and push a couple gobs into each hole on the plug the plug and unplug it 3 or 4 times. Then put a fresh gob into yhe plug holes again and plug it in... It will help prevent corrosion. Do this once or twice a month... Good thing to do same time as you grease the 5th wheel.

Yes i always keep dialectric grease , for any electrical work i do. That stuff is worth its weight in gold... the trailer plug had 0 corrosion on it because i always grease it up, every couple weeks or so.77fib77, Bud A., Dale thompson and 6 others Thank this.
