Actually, it was him and his friend with chain saws cleaning up the grove of gigantic dead elm trees that had been killed by Dutch Elm disease on my uncle's place. I was the cheap labor someone else mentioned earlier, toting the stuff they cut up over to the pickup and trailer.

That’s some good stuff. Can’t buy all the different cheeses and make it at home for less.

I get that Wendy's is a megacorp that has expensive useless people at their headquarters, so of course they have an entire team that takes months to redesign the way the taters are cut up, but one statement is wrong.

Soggy fries are not caused by the shape of the cut. They are caused by dirty oil that has broken down after too much use. Same for greasy chicken. If your favorite fast food place has disappointing fried products, it's because the owner or manager doesn't want to spend the extra money on changing the fry oil more often.

Doesn’t look like I’ll be heading to Louisiana this week. If I do, I’ll have to call the receiver first. Never know what to expect afterwards. May or may not be any freight. May be a shortage of Trucks. Just never know. See what the rates do first.

That looks good. I might have to try that out.

I'm back in the truck, in the yard. It's taining like one or two mofos right now, hopefully it'll let up when I go hook to my trailer.

Apparently I need seven more minutes to complete a 34hr reset......

I don’t have a microwave in that Freightliner, I’ve got my inverter & fridge, just haven’t hooked it up, was going to once, but there wasn’t anywhere to run the lines into the cab that I seen, so I just laid them in the camper, still there on the table of it.
I used to carry a lot of things to eat, but I just usually carry a package of Cajun turkey.
Used to carry Krey bologna, but they don’t have it at the deli anymore, it went up from $3/lb to $5/lb anyway.
