The tractor runs. Just that it weeps oil. I am reasonably sure I know where the leak is. The intake manifold is off. So the next time I start the tractor I should be able to shine a light on the fitting and see what part is leaking. I think it is where the tube enters the fitting. Yet the tractor needs to be started to confirm the thought.

Alas the day is wicked humid and it is very hard to breathe. The other headache is the wife comes home and doesnt want to go sit in the garage if it smells of diesel smoke. Working on the tractor is so interesting.

 

Does this mean you need to lay down. As you cant do it while still standing?

Freightliner says nothing is wrong, I guess it’s supposed to derate once a week, and throw codes on, I do believe I get this unloaded, I’m DHing home and they’ll fix this pos or I’m putting a sign in the window.
