I must agree with Opus' assessment.......
I just did a pickup in Lancaster County, PA, and yes, it has quaint towns, nice people, and beautiful scenery.
PA is also uncomfortably close to NYC, it borders NJ, and it contains the greater Philadelphia area. And Pittsburgh
WI is uncomfortably close to Minneapolis, and contains the greater Milwaukee area. And Madison.
IMO, Milwaukee is nowhere as detestable, from a trucking standpoint, as Philadelphia.
I seem to eat better in WI than PA, but then again I'm constrained by being in a truck and the route I am on. There's lots of car-accessible good local eats all over the country. For trucks, they're there, but few and far between.
