Yep, and St. Clair Shores. It's like driving on ice when those things show up.

Tractor not bad; a little flashy, but not bad.

Back in a time when drivers could be drivers and do things that are just not acceptable today,
It was late in the evening, may have actually been very early morning, not exactly sure, the direction was eastern, the highway I-10. The weather was clear and comfortable, only a light breeze and some good moon light. Cruise control maxed out at 72 and classic rock on the satellite radio. Things are good.

After a bit of time, El Paso’s lights are gone from the mirrors, now we are out where population is more likely to be a steer than human. Haven’t seen another vehicle in some time. Going is easy. Pretty sure we have rolled into the wee hours of the day. Probably should consider grabbing a nap soon.

As I ride along this roadway, just at the edge of the headlights, it looks like the road is moving, like waves. These bands of light grey and tan color, seem to swirl and sweep across the road. A bit to far out in front to clearly identify what this was, couldn’t clearly see what it may have been in the mirrors. A little more down the road, these bands are getting bigger and closer. Thing is, almost no wind, just a very light breeze, so dust and sand didn’t make sense. So what the heck is going on, what am I seeing.

As I came up on a large band of what ever this was, I slowed down to about 5MPH. Had a real good look at this phenomenon. Mice. Thousands of little mice running across the highway.
