This Load was supposed to be light. I noticed my dash gauge was high. I asked the Guy if it was loaded even, he said yes. How much weight? I ask. Well he says, 275 ea. @52 pc. 14,300#. So, I slid the axle all the way forward. Only had about 5 ‘ open on tail of Trailer. It felt heavy, still showing it on gauge. Took off, thought about sliding them back a bit, till gauge was at the max, but figured I need fuel, and Scales will probably be closed anyways. Trucks running real good. Finally got to Mont Eagle, only dropped 2 gears. It got a little hot, fan came on a few times. All good, just what I want. Figured the Load must be around 36k at most, just heavy in the nose, plus shocks are bad, All makes sense. Get to Manchester Scales and they’re Open. Set Me on the Scale, told my wife, we’ll find out now what it weighs. 79660 gross! Luckily I‘d burned off half the fuel bought in Ga. Trailer was 35400 lbs, 1540 lbs over. Sat there for the longest 2 minutes while they ran my #s. Then gave Me the green light!! Thought for sure I was headed for a Level 3. Lol. Luck of the Irish strikes again!!

I've thought about those for when I build my shop... But I dont produce enough waste oil to use it as main heat. I might be able to get away with one that gets used occasionally to take the chill off a shop while I'm out there, but not much more.

Most every one around here that produces lots of waste oil uses themselves for heat, so getting it from someone else is not a reliable option either.

Heavy on the trailer pulls harder than heavy on the tractor.

The OM was wondering how may Bigfeet have been killed or displaced in the fires in THE COMMUNIST STATES.
