Day 3 sitting at the yard waiting to get a PM done. Apparently the yard dog drivers were switching red tag trailers to the working trailer list and then dropping them in docks to be loaded. Someone figured that out so now the shop has to work through a huge backlog of red tag trailers, which of course has priority over tractors..

Cascadia drivers. Dd15 with 15 40 plus a gallon of of Lucas. What should my oil pressure be? I just got it changed it seems high. I should get it up to 195'F and see what it does.

I used to get down to 11 psi or 10.5 at idle right off highway. The Lucas pushes that to 13. Think 77k tanker in pa hills. I don't like 10.X psi.

What weight is your Delvac?

So the OOS this morning did not come with a citation, but killed 2.5 hours of my day for the mechanic to come and do what I could have to make DOT happy. Of course because it was OOS at a POE it required the mechanic to sign off on work prior to departure, essentially a $225, 5 minute fix.

Yes, climate change is real....however, it isn't new! Weather is determined by wind (jet stream), many other factors contribute, topography, surface conditions (temperature variables), surface anomallies....
Why are known sea creatures skeletal remains (fossils) found at high altitude desert locations )?( does a river just travel on the surface or does it carve out its own path thereby changing topograhical systems and flows....tar pits at sea level and buried deep underground....
Man hasn't caused all these annomalies, nature does in cooperation with weather and cyclic changes. The earth is not truly round it is oblong and spinning, this rotaton will not keep everything in the same circular perspective as it was 100 years ago....we know the north pole is constantly moving, we know every 9 years runway headings require adjusting.....
I grew up in Ely, NV. when we had every winter 3 to 4 foot of snow on the ground, not any more. We had dirt roads except for main street....once they paved all the roads, this changed the heat signature of the land and environment...storms were pushed away from the warm zone and followed the colder path....same situation for coastal regions....more population, more heat less evaporative effects of nature to spread moisture inland.
It isn't rocket science....it's weather and natural changes along with mankind adding to the mix, but man is not the only cause!

That’s the obvious conclusion, based on the information. The last 140 yrs since the Industrial Revolution began, has had a compounding effect. The EPA is never satisfied it seems. Funding is used as a Political football, with thousands of Superfund clean up sites put on hold. Meanwhile moving the goalpost every time it’s met on other issues. It’s all turned into another Big Business with questionable interests.

I should point out to my previous post about the covid shots. While the booster shot isnt mandatory here. If you work with the elderly or some form of care for the sick. It is mandatory to get innoculated. Of course the antivaxers are pushing back. Yet that is fine, they are dying from covid and once they get it they start singing the tune that they wish they had received the innoculation.

Just heard a story about an OTR Driver currently hospitalized. Hole cut in his throat pumping oxygen into his bloodstream, 45 yrs old otherwise healthy. He said he wishes now he’d hadn’t listened to all the BS, on Talk Radio.

No, required a mechanic to sign off on the work. So even if I had used my repair items I'd have still been charged for the mileage and service call minimum 2 hours labor.

When the wife was working in the pharmacy, she had to overly explain to the people getting their shots that the vaccine does not prevent you from contracting the virus, it masks the symptoms when you do get it!
I have cardiac arrythmia and COPD....I am not a candidate for the vaccine!
