What if it Snows?

My carrier is shutting down all trucking operations in Houston and surrounding areas at 1900 hours. Waiting for my trailer to be spotted so I can get the heck outta' Dodge a.s.a.p.

KeepTruckin dude, that called me from customer support hung up on me.
I don’t believe he was following the script.
Kept telling me about their new load board, for pulling jb hunt, or Uber or coyote freight, that’s why the price went up, I told him their cargo doesn’t go in a hopper, I’m paying for not using that feature,

Then, said what about hard cornering or hard brakes?
Our system lets you know when someone in your truck brakes to hard, or takes a curve to fast!! (He was excited to be telling that)

I told him I was tired of looking in the mirror and telling myself to slow down on curves and be more prepared for the guy to run the red light or to not be charging the light, cause you know it’s going to change.
You keep this up, I’ll fire you and get a replacement, I hear they’re a dime for a dozen.”

Dude went to laughing and hung up,
But he canceled the new order, that I told them to a while back after they didn’t honor not charging me their price increase on options I don’t use.

Time to finish the last 200ish miles.

 

Reason being?
