Well with that much variation it will be pretty hard have a set loading pattern... Lol

With that 8 skids that net 50k... I would put about 30k centered over the spread and the rest against the step... Probably be wrong but thats where I would start.

Yes you are right. It is like putting a puzzle together, especially since the ground is not even at the quarry so it will read heavier on one gauge or the other until you get to flat ground. I knew my flatbed and how to load the pallets , and was perfect almost everytime. And last year i did it without a trailer scale... its just one of those things that bugs me . But im glad they called me today and said my trailer is out of the shop and ready to get back up the mountain

 

See to me the center of the trailer would be the marker light in the center. But i bet with a spread like that , if you loaded there , you would be way heavy on the trailer

 

I’d say forget the top deck, leaving 43 ft.
Forget the last 3’ anything behind rear axle is straight to rear.
Leaving 40’
2.5 infront of center light should work.
Each 1000lbs, you gotta move 1 ft. (Old rule of thumb)

 

It is to much math and thinking. I just want to load and roll

 

I've loaded ALOT of different bulk, flat, and steps when I was running the fertilizer warehouse. It didnt take long before I figured out that reworking a load sucks, lol. If I know hiw much weight I'm working with I am pretty decent at eyeballing it as I load.

 

Hoppers you get to play with where to load too, can’t love tandems, so you gotta load product in such places as to where tandem would be if you had to slide it.
