    My wife has been around trucking her entire life, so she knows better... Her Dad was an OTR Trucker for nearly 40 years with nearly 5 million miles. If she needs me to be home on a specific day or only gone for so long, she knows to let me know at least 10 days out.

    That's part of why I switched to local work. I wanted to be closer to home incase of emergency and I was tired of missing seeing my children grow.

    Hauling and pumping is bad enough... But to actually be measuring it out into a jar and dumping it by hand??? Oh HELL NO!!!

    Got you a better diet than beans and stale bread/ dry cereal rations(our jail used to have) chicken noodle soup/ chicken FLAVOR ramen, with peas and corn and carrots.
    Down 10 lbs in 2 days, actually don’t feel like eating by I force myself, first day with sore throat was 2 bologna sandwiches which actually did wonders, next day throat wasn’t sore, but it sure sucked eating.

    Washing down with a coke, so you can imagine the Burn!
    It only makes you stronger, right?

    We're going to spend an extra 24 hours about an hour away from the house because we're going to be about an hour short for our run that's going to allow us to
    ESCAPE FROM THE COMMUNIST STATE
    and get us back home.

    This is definitely one of the bigger paying short hauls we've ever done, and when I told the agent we'd come up a bit short, he didn't even blink and was like," No problem."

    So, The OM is pleased.
