Yea. I understand that but what are you spreading if you arent sick? You see im not arguing im just trying to figure out whats happening. Ive come to the conclusion when i ask questions and someone says “im not arguing about it” then it means they dont have an answer. Im sorry but i will be a skeptic for a long time when someone tells me to have some test to see if i have a virus that i have no symptoms of. Trust the science they say. Ok. I look at the vaers report and see side effects that the same scientist say aint true. Idk but im not having a test when im not sick. Idc if people do just quit shoving it up my nose. My nose. You get it. Lol.

Same reason my daughter wouldn’t come in our house yesterday. Since her job requires being up close and a possible danger to her clients. A test is common sense You’re comparing a very minimal chance of catching a virus in an area that probably has very few cases. To working on an environment that’s full of Covid patients being treated, and others spreading it unknowingly to Healthcare workers. It’s the protocol to help decrease spreading. I’m glad they have something in place. At first, they couldn’t even get masks. Had to reuse the ones they had for weeks.

Those were bulletproof engines, had a couple of them back in the day when we first switched from cummins. Never had to ever take one apart while we ran them, lots of the guys that run the ice up north seek them out. Dead nuts reliable.

You can have the virus, and not have symptoms. That’s the problem. Most young people fall into that category. They spread it never knowing. Same as most viruses. Some people have herpes, spread it without ever breaking out themselves. Some carry HIV, and never develop aids. The reason so many are getting tested here, many haven’t been vaccinated. They just want to know. So they don’t give it to Grandma or Grandpa. I agree, I was tested once, before a Heart catherization test. Those were the rules. I’ve always got a sinus and congestion problem. I’d need a test every few days. Lol. If I do get Covid, it probably won’t be a bad case. Having lung and heart problems puts me at high risk. Yet the vaccine raises the chances of a heart attack. It all depends if it stays in the sinuses or travels to the respiratory tract, if it’s dangerous. My daughter had just treated 2 patients that had Covid. She woke up with a sore throat and fever. So she has to get tested before returning to work. She doesn’t want to miss any more than she has to. It’s nothing new. They were testing once a week, before the vaccine. It’s an inconvenience. Part of her job. I tried to get her to come in and have dinner yesterday. Told her we weren’t worried about getting it. Wear a mask if you want. Nope, She takes it very seriously, doesn’t want to take any chances giving it to Us. Just in case. She’s seen so many people die from it, despite what some want to believe. Her hospital has 20 National Guardsmen treating patients. There was a time there were no tests. Any symptoms, just had to quarantine. She’s been through hell, I worry about her. Being diabetic, low immune system. Finally got her dream job, after working in a Nursing home, for a couple years, where they were dying every day. Whole basement full of Covid patients. No wonder she’s being so careful.

Good. Way more than you’ll ever need. I wasn’t sure if they even sell many 750s anymore. One search I did pulled up 4 750’s as standard equipment on a Cascadia. I need a 4 th battery. Always had only 3, not good in cold weather.

Seems most of them haven't been around this industry long enough to know what's up. But then again, some of us refuse to accept the "new" reality. Now get off my lawn...

    Being cautious makes sense.

But if its so mild, that you need a test to tell you your supposedly sick, then don't worry about it.
I was sneezing 50 times a day and coughing 50 more.
    So obviously sick.
But if I felt fine, and there was a test for the common cold, I would not get tested daily/weekly/monthly for a cold.

My baby sister got a cold, we live together, and I was sure that I would catch it. So I didn't even try to avoid it.
I told her that its best to just get it over with, and when she was caughing I pulled her hand away from her face, and got my face a foot away, so she was coughing right on me. When she got done coughing and could speak, "You're crazy, but that should do it" she said to me.
I would rather get omnicron and then have the natural immunity to it. Since omnicron is basically a cold, maybe i did have it. Felt just like the 15 other colds I've had in my life, barely sick at all today. My sister is completely over it, and she also felt like it was just a cold.
I'll take getting sick, and then natural immunity, over the alternatives.
Almost positive i had covid in December 2019. It wasn't a big deal. Felt sick, didn't eat much for a few days, threw up twice, coughed lots, but I work alone in the truck, so only missed a single day of work. My sisters, dad, coworkers, we all had it. Would have to feel a thousand times worse before even thinking about going to the hospital. People are getting too soft. Tough it out, so your sick. People run to the doctor nowadays for a scratch, or cough. Unless I heard bones breaking, or a big knife is sticking out of me, I don't need medical care.
Yes I went to emergency when I fell off a ladder, or the knife stuck in me, otherwise its normal to get sick. Let your body fight it off, and grow stronger like nature intended us to. If you don't let your immune system work, and grow, because of constant intervention, then it gets weaker and weaker.
My sister who is a nurse, if she caught her kids eating a little dirt, she didn't stop them. But would say, it won't hurt them, just makes them stronger, when i caught her then 2 year old daughter eating something from the lawn. Our parents didn't worry about us, and all 3 of us have healthy immune systems.

Here in AB the gov't decided to hand out rapid test kits to anyone that wants them. I went in for some follow up post surgery xrays on my neck just before xmas, and when I was leaving I heard a guy at at the health desk for some kits. I stopped and went to the desk and asked, they handed 4 kits (5 tests per box) no questions asked. I'd rather know just for my own information than be a part of the government's numbers scare tactics.
