I don’t know if your the owner or hired on to fix the issue, but who ever the head is of the company needs to see the responses here.
set your ego/feelings aside and do what’s right and that is pay the owner ops and they will come.

I'm my opinion, the 50% of the gross is the problem. Going off of 1/2 of $280k which is $140k after expenses your leaving the owner operator with driver pay. He/she could make that as a company driver with out all of the headaches that comes with being an owner operator.

9 k average a week bare minimum would be a good starting point. Your 280 k is a joke!! This is not 1990. O/O have access to DAT and Truckstop. We know what the market pays. We enjoy a partnership in making money and service. Not just running for the sake of running or being home when we want to.
God prefers Diesels, goga, LoneRanger and 1 other person Thank this. -
Intermodal is seen by many as the bottom of the barrel type of trucking. Lots of waiting and lots of cheap trips.God prefers Diesels, Siinman and LoneRanger Thank this.

They most likely will grow to the point of understanding in years.. let it be 59.2, that O/Os usually are paying 10 to 14% to run under company they are leased to.

That’s not nearly enough to have to deal with the headaches of dealing with rail yards and the poorly maintained chassis pool.
GENXCHI Thanks this. -
