When someone sues you, what are you identified as in the complaint to the court? That's the ONLY time what you're called matters. You must be technical in court...anywhere else doesn't matter.

People don’t realize that, but that’s what matters

Oh my goodness. You're going to be most certainly shunned and chastised by the esteemed members of our forum.

You must understand how the esteemed mind works.

In the esteemed mind ( LOOK AT ME !!!!! ) there is only one way. There way. It's too late for you now my friend.

Happy Thanksgiving & may The OM be with you.

My view as a fellow lease operator is this. I own my truck. I assume all the risks. Everything is still paid for by me. I am therefor an owner op. The only diffrence between me and joe blows the load boards is that i have an exclusive contract with a company to haul their freight and as part of that contract they allow me to use services at a discount over what i myself can use and keep me much busier at a standard rate.

Its no diffrent then if he took his authority and signed a contract with megacorp#82741 to haul 3 trailers full of widgets a week in exchange for X rate and Y fuel surcharge.

I prefer to be addressed as “The Exalted One” or “Fearless Warrior “.

Most of the time I tell people it’s my bosses truck and it’s my first week on the job.

I do the same. When someone says the truck looks nice I usually reply that I can’t believe they gave me such a sharp truck right out of driving school.

I told the guy I was lying about being an O/O, and that I’m really a company driver for Swift. He couldn’t tell I was trolling him. He bought it hook, like, and sinker.

I agree. My money pays for everything associated with my truck, so I’m an O/O.
