I guess there is a box of small bags that I can set on the fith wheel to grease it each time I switch a trailer?
Is this true, please help me identify this majic item?

    Thanks in advance

Not every time you change trailers... maybe every 2 weeks

Red 'n' Tacky also makes those. But I use stuff in tubes or spray cans, and usually find myself adding way less than what's in just one of those bags. Most of the excess will just squish out the sides and pile up on your frame anyway.

Tubes of the cheap stuff and just tamp it out, if the end folds over cut it off with the razor knife and tamp some more.
I do a stick of the 2$ grease once every two to three months.
The grooves on the fifth wheel trap grease you can scrape it out and throw it back on the plate if need be.

The grooves and hollows in the plate are called reservoirs and they're supposed to always be full.

never heard of those bags, pretty cool. I always take a putty knife and scrape off the old grease. Keeps the back end cleaner

Tis why I said if need be.
If you drop a trailer and see shiny/rusty metal on the plate itself that takes priority over the grease trap.

True. But I'd also have to have run out of grease spray first. Then again, a company driver is less likely to have that stuff. Still, I'd harvest the edges of the plate gorst.
