What is your score. Mmmm it is rhe bottom of the 9th. The home team is down 2 runs. Bases loaded with 2 outs. The mighty casey is at bat. Dang it. That DOT cop just had to wake me up. Now I will never know how it ended.

    Woodys and Lepton1 Thank this.

What does my CSA score reflect if I drive locally, have never been through a dot inspection, never had a ticket, never had an accident. Does it just say that I have been actively driving for my company and nothing else?

you need at the very least, an inspection. your PSP score should be zero right now.

you won't even be in the system.

companies have CSA scores......drivers have PSP points...

    but be forewarned...

you do not need to be in a scale house to get an inspection. there are roadside inspections as well.

the cop (especially if it is a state DOT cop), can pull you over for say speeding, or a tail light, write you up a ticket for either, then write up an inspection right there as well.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

So with a psp score of zero when you apply for a job and let's just say they looked at the psp score, would they then have to get all information from the mvr. Since there is no other information.

Yes they look at MVR PSP and DAC and possibly a background criminal check.

There’s another lesser-known category... the Social Media check. See what you’ve been posting on trucking websites. Check your history. :)

I forgot about that one. I have been informed a driver in one of my videos came up in his company's radar for his illegal driving, they pulled him into the office and offered to have him go out with a trainer for a week or so, he opted not to so they let him go...
