That's a tough one. It pays to read on here and any other sources online as well as checking a companies SMS scores. I was a student with JB Hunt in 1989.
It was free in exchange for working for them for a year.
I've never been unemployed since then.
I recently left Arnold after scoping for a company I could retire with. It took months of looking and reading and asking around. I'm so happy to leave Arnold in my rear-view mirror...

After two years of seeing the same problems go unchanged, the only conclusion left is the core issue is a lack of competent leadership. Todd Smith cannot claim ignorance when yhe same poor-performing people are allowed to stay on.
The frequency and coverage of their Craigdlist spam ads is a visible indication of their inability to retain drivers. How many companies conduct two orientations per week?
It really makes me wonder how financially stable they are now.

Arnold really is in a class of its own. The cluster #### of orientation alone would scare anyone truly serious off. I thought it would be different since I was going into the sand hauling division... It was even more of a cluster.

Simply put Arnold is one of the most absolutely disorganized company's I have had the pleasure (ahem) of doing business with.

I'm not surprised to hear orientation was chaotic. The safety department folks are the good ones at Grand Prairue. I was amazed to find that they were conducting 2 orientations per week when I came back from knee surgery in May if last year.
They are caught between the recruiters who lie to get you there, and operations who can't keep anyone there.
Add in their dabbling in frac sand and I feel bad for the safety folks.
