Im building myself a list of things to buy for OTR next month, Dry Van

What items, tools or gadgets do you recommend I carry that may or will come in handy?

Any unique items that you used or found handy in your time of being a truck driver?

You need the app , maybe Google Maps that lets you look down on truck stops to see empty parking spaces.
Someone on here will let you which app is best.

Im not really looking for things only for company drivers. I still want to keep a solid set of tools and equipment whether im company or owner op and i think in the future when i eventually become an owner op, it will be useful.

As a good supplemental tool, I’d highly recommend a Leatherman multi tool. I have the Wingman but there’s several different models available. I use it daily for miscellaneous tasks on the road.

Here’s the most used tool you can have in a truck.
