There are certain tools people (without guns) don't argue with, a machete is one, an axe is another but a chain wrench seems to make people think twice.

This said, I think common sense and knowing what is worth fighting for is an absolute necessity, and usually the only tool necessary to avoid confrontation.

Now in the event that the zombies rise I will stick with my Ruger SR556 CLA with an ACOG and lake city surplus penetrators. :D RUGER SR556 CLA.jpg 001.JPG

Definately. Dual piston. Have upgraded to a SR556 takedown.

No doubt Ruger makes a fine weapon and I take nothing away from them, but one thing to keep in mind about those is parts interchangeability. Unlike direct impingement AR's they are not standardized. That could possibly turn out to be an issue.

In TN, you're perfectly fine carrying a firearm if you have a permit.

Personally, I wouldn't care if company policy said I couldn't. Just keep it out of sight. What's the worst they could do? Fire you if you ward off a attacker? I'll take those chances.

Sure, but it will buy you some time to pull out whatever secondary weapon you have to beat or cut them. Spray then baton across the skull works well. :D

Not sure if you're aware, but the BCG out of a standard AR won't run in yours, for example.
