You're north of the border, right?

Canada's gun laws are crap. :biggrin_25510:

Yup. Shotguns and rifles aren't super regulated (yet). I'm free to take mine to the range or out in the bush any time I want. Handguns are fairly regulated though. Gotta be trigger locked and locked inside a case. Need a special firearms course as well as handgun registration and transport permits. Travel to range and home only. No stopping along the way or going off-route.

I think it's some kind of feature related to unread posts. If there are still unread posts in a thread it will show you your post at the end of what you have read instead of the end of the thread.

I'm not certain about that. I just know a post will show up where it shouldn't be and it won't be there if I go back. But if I read the whole thread it will be where it should be.

The Crown learned its lesson in 1776, not going to let Canada repeat.

They want like $2K for one of those.

Your common garden variety thug shouldn't be underestimated.

Idaho did that also, effective 1 July 2016 :-D The liberals went nuts, saying the state would be going back to the old west days. To date, no one has killed anyone else.

I thought I saw trucker pull out his pistol at a truck stop. 3 or 4 were getting loud and one went to truck and came back with something he was sort of hiding.

New York State in practice varies quite a bit. The old roommate I lived with in Brooklyn had a house up in Dutchess County with a safe full of guns in it and I'm pretty sure he had a carry permit. LI and 5 boroughs forget it. No-issue unless you're well connected or can show you have a special need for work.
