what will happen if you get abandonment of equipment on your DAC?

To the OP:
Tell your husband to go over the DM and his trainer and report his problem directly to the safety department. Don't do it from the qualcomm where you have a chance of the trainer seeing the messages, but have him call the safety department. Yes they will put an abandonment on his DAC and yes he will not drive for quite some time, so don't abandon the truck unless he is going to change careers.
Tell your hubby to do whatever it is they ask of him and GET OUT as soon as he can without breaking England's rules. Chances are they are going to tarnish his DAC with something anyway just don't let it be truck abandonment. Save your money too before he quits. These mega-carriers usually run up a hefty bill of money they think you will owe them for damages to the truck. Be prepared, its going to happen!
