unfortunately, that could be enough to dilute the urin. you should get another test done on your own asap. If you can prove that you passed another test right after that one you may be able to get your record cleared. if you have nothing to hide even offer to have a hair folicle test, that shows a lot more than urin

that kind of useless attitude will take you far in life my friend...it really will and FYI like Casual trucker said so eloquently....we have made it...our drug screens were all clean...now..... at least in my case I'm retired , so your little speech means just as much as my useless info......

Yo trucker, easy on the additude, if you do not like someone s advice just ignore it. There is no need or point in arguing. Its not going to get you aanywhere. If you want to make it in trucking you have to have respect for others, especialy veterans whether you like them or not

No idea why the hell I am even replying to this thread. Part of me thinks people will probably just keep calling you out on your attitude towards others which in turn will only lead to more conflict. The other part of me thinks that I am probably going to be the only one that may have some useful information since I actually tested POSITIVE for a controlled substance back in '07-'08 and I have a pretty good idea what you are going through. I highly doubt there are many drivers on here that have dealt with this situation and had a favourable outcome... much less want to give advice on it. I have no idea what the specifics of your issues are but my circumstances were unique at the time. I wont go into my specifics, but I will give you some of idea what avenues are open to you:

    1. Your doors to the company you tried to get on board with are probably boarded shut. Your best bet is to start looking into getting a CDL lawyer to help you clear your record. Most will charge right around $200/hour for their counsel. It could be worth it if you have a strong case. Some of them will give you some free advice just to see if you have a shot.

    2. If you are too broke to get a lawyer (like I was), start researching all the different ins-outs of the system and start putting together your own case to get your problem resolved. If you try to do this on your own, you better start early. The longer you wait, the worse it's going to get. You may have a convincing enough argument or documentation to get an appeal. I managed to scrounge up enough documents/circumstantial evidence to get a favourable outcome. And no, I didn't cheat the system.

    3. If all else fails, cut your losses and move on to something else. I know it sucks if you already have a CDL and paid for it through personal funds, but I find it unlikely you will find anyone willing to hire you on with a failed UA on your file, no matter how unique your circumstances were.

    Dispute it.

What company was it that you tested for ?

See if you can get on with a company that needs a straight truck driver
