When do you have EXPERIENCE?

When they hit their 1 year anniversary and they have 1 week vacation

I think experience is something you acquire over your entire career out here. It's an old cliché but holds a lot of water...

"The day you stop learning, is the day you should get out of the truck."

If you mean, "When will I feel comfortable?" That too doesn't have a particular timeframe...as everyone learns differently, and at different paces. For me, it was after two years OTR...now, years later, I still learn something new everyday.

My Great Grandfather use to say.... when a day goes by and you have learned nothing it is a sad day. I'm still learning.
