When will the MADNESS ever stop?

Who the hell parks where there is a possibility of getting blocked in?

Regarding the make a spots at the rest area. When all the truck stops are full even the paid parking and the rest areas too what do you expect us to do? There are cities where parking is a PIA to find one example being Little Rock Arkansas, don't even bother trying to check at the petro there after 20:00 only thing you'll find are the paid parking and only the blindsides.

I do however HATE the make a spots that park in front of me at the truck stops making coming out a nightmare or sometimes impossible.

 

Time long ago it seems, people would help each other, talk politely and respect each other. Give things plenty of time, it comes back so it is popular.

 

This is a direct result of ELD's. Drivers are pushed more than ever to drive tired and exhausted and race that ticking clock. No time to slow down for work zones or truck stops/rest areas. Run that 11 hour clock out as fast as possible along with every other trucker on ELD and since most communities have a NIMBY attitude about trucks we have to corral up at the truckstop outside of town but there's 125% capacity parked up in there. It will only get worse next week.....

 

We are supposed to be professionals, act like it and have pride in your actions. When you hurry the usual result is a mistake and you have to do something over or you have a mishap which will cost you more time and money. Set your goal, start slowly and build to a pace that is in line with everyone else, dodging in and out only makes you look like a chicken with its head cut off. Slow and steady, fall in line and scare the rest by giving a relaxed smile.

 

Seems to me, there is a opportunity to make huge money. Not as a driver but starting a chain of big truck stops. I can't imagine that they don't make money. If I had the money I would do it. Seems like a market left behind years ago, but still has a huge demand.

 

It's spelled HOS not ELD. That and many drivers being nasty mother####ers and making sure every parking area we had is now gone.

 

Contrary to popular belief, they were disgusting decades before they ever got anywhere near a truck.

Look around. They're degenerating. They BARELY able to pass for human. If homo sapien means "Thinking Man", what would you call these people that can't think? They look like 300lb effeminate Neanderthals.

 

That is the whole country and world in general that is failing, as always there is many that are polite and are a joy to work with, then there is that one that stands out as disgusting and needy that everyone see and they think it is all of them. I have seen some who will wear suits and proper clothing, then some going into a food shipper in shorts and flip flops neither which has seen the wash basin for weeks.
