It’s a fine night for a road trip just hop on 81 and hit them all.
Finally empty in okc. Got to start south and get a washout. Some days one of those eld thingamabob’s look pretty good.

 

I was a frequent visitor on the other side of the big road. That spot is a nearly perfect midpoint for trips we run up to NY. @chopper103in is the one that stays over there all the time, for the same reason as you, if I recall.

 

Landed in Dallas. Had a offer to run down to Houston, but they didn’t have enough $$. So hopefully take tomorrow off.

 

Saw this on the road today.... Pictures in sequence from my dash cam....

 

The truck behind had its front totally destroyed... total loss... but the driver was ok... By the way it looked from behind, I though he might be hurt, but as I drove next to him, saw him and he seemed not to be hurt.... maybe pretty shaken.... The driver of the first truck was ok...
As I kept driving, I saw what may have triggered the whole accident... a truck on the shoulder and a trooper....

Definitely not a good end of the day for those 2 drivers.....

 

BTW, that accident was on I-76 PA westbound....
First I heard someone saying on the CB... "slowing everybody down...." And so... for some reason, I decided to slow down some... and then I saw the blue car on the left stepping on the breaks and I knew there was something wrong going on.. and I turned my flashers on.... I am SOOOOO THANKFUL I didn't hit anybody and nobody hit me.... and that those drivers were not hurt...

 

Delivered the load this morning in York, PA and then pick up another load in Hanover, PA... Now parked at a service plaza with no restrooms in OH... Y'all be safe out there....

 

I wonder too... Where is Mr. @chopper103in ..?
BTW... I was in York today... very briefly.... delivered and left....
