Thank you Dave... Talked to dad last night... he said will not have any surgery unless he can't take the pain any more... So far, he is hanging in there and not feeling much any pain.... but doctor said what dad has inside may rupture at any time...
Doctor filled out FMLA form (in Portuguese) and I'll have him fax it to my co. My co. will accept it... and I can translate it to them if they need...
And I'll be on my way to Brasil sometime next month... a lot to do here before I leave...
Right now I am at Freightliner with tractor and the trailer is at towing co. 20 miles south of here... The weather is nasty... snow, slippery roads... Folks were going at 45 mph on I-81.... When repair is done, will have to bobtail to trailer... I'm not really "happy" about that... AT ALL... And if the snow is too bad, I'll not leave... More snow coming tonight though...

 

In the horizontal position 2 hours after leaving home waiting to get loaded in Memphis Tennessee. Gonna be a slow week I think

 

With the kind of weather we have here right now... I don't like going anywhere at least till Wednesday.... But I'll still have to bobtail to where trailer is after repairs are done this afternoon... I am afraid receiver in Edison, NJ will not get their load tomorrow... Looks like it will be pretty PRETTY ugly over there....

I don't yet know what kind of week it's going to be.
But Monday was a bust. Three delivery tickets only.
In and of itself probably not enough to overcome deductions at this point...

 

After taking all afternoon to load then getting run thru the wringer at west Memphis (got a gold star by the way) I finally made it to hazen. I could use a nap but I guess I'll push on the last hour and get this one off tonite

 

I got a call today. SDV would like a dedicated truck. They want it 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday. He said it will be $25/hr and if it sells it will be a 26' box truck with a litigate strictly for airport transfers. And am I interested?

If it happens it would sorta be a dedicated like I loved when OTR.

But I hate SDV with a passion. But it would be good money to put up with it....
