Drove almost all my 11 and got to where I wanted.... FJ in Brookshire, TX... It's nicely warm here... :yes2557: took shower, had my meal that I cooked yesterday... and gotta figure out where I'll park for my 10... or maybe reset tomorrow... and must have enough hrs to deliver in CA on Tuesday at 7:00 am...

Took this pic yesterday while driving on US- 221 from GA to FL... beautiful trees... nice warm weather... I wish I could stay the whole winter in those warm places.... I don't want to see snow... :biggrin_25512:

Got my 4 days off starting today. Was a drag of a week at work, had no motivation !
went and bought a new (to me) pick up truck today. 2010 Ford F-350 Lariat with 53000 miles on the clock and a 6.4L turbo Diesel engine. Got her for $35k.

    I am at Forward Air.
My day started with a 10am pick up in Pearland. 3 drums of UN1203 gasoline which went to Baytown. Then because I was the only driver even close I went to Friendswood to get two radioactive cartons all of 6#.
Took them to SDV where I grabbed a 150# pallet going here and a 121# pallet going to Singapore. I got to Singapore and saw I would be there a while. So went to Altus for 7 cartons which turned out to be 4 cartons which took an hour to get and which dropped at Cathay Pacific. I just got unloaded here. A little paperwork and then homeward bound!

It was a spur of the moment decision . I saw it come up for sale on the local dealers lot yesterday and took a quick look at it on my drive home from work. Went for a test drive today and though "what the heck". It met my criteria for a used truck.. late model , low miles, under $40k, locally owned (not an ex fleet vehicle aka "Oil Rig Rocket" !

I got home at 21:30. A little dinner. A little T.V. And will be watching the movie on my eyelids VERY soon. So do not want to work on my buddies truck tomorrow. But it can't be helped.
