Where Are You Continues, Again.....

Well. I got a pretty nice check.
But it's been a slow week. I don't think next Fridays check will hold a candle to the first two.
But being able to sit comfortable and watch TV in the AC when not running is worth its weight in pay I reckon.

 

I'm here...



In my friend's living room.... her house is very close to the road... all the houses in this street are very close to each other....
On the first night I slept here, was relaxing in the sofa-bed in the living room and noticed flash light beams pointing at me coming from the porch of the house next door... The curtains don't obstruct much of the view...



The day after, I saw the man who lives in there... he was at his window, smiling and waving at me...
I don't like being observed while in bed... So, I covered that window with some paper... no cloth available for that..

Nobody will watch me in bed again....

I have been "exploring" some of this place where I am now...
My friend here lives next to marinas... Showed me a beautiful one yesterday...



And I walked to another one today... Relaxed some at the pier...



Days have been sunny and beautiful around here in MD...

 

Last week was kind of slow. So far this one isn't a whole lot better. But the chances are that the check won't be near as bad as if it was like this at Suzy's....

 

That's an improvement...

 

Wow, just now discovered this thread is still going. I'm home for the night. Tomorrow head to KCMO with salt for a MODOT. From there I run back to Topeka to load sand. This is what we're calling playing in the sandbox. We haul sand to Edgerton all day.

 

Nice to "see" you here sir... And glad to know you are still "playing in the sand"...

 

Not setting the World on Fire.
But a check in figured wouldn't be great was over $500.
If this one is nearly that good I'll be happy as a pig in the mud.

 

Had 6 today. 1 not to the airlines but not too far from Bollore. 5 airline deliveries. Had 4 for the morning but one of them is secured freight so he pulled that one off me. All three go to Air France and it will be three tickets.
With Suzy's each one would have paid me about $4.50.
With Pink Panther I get $10.50. Can't hate that!
