I'm about 30 miles from NYC... it is cool during the day and cold at night... Last night I had to turn the heater on... set it at 82 F... went under my sleeping bag and wore my sweater, long heavy socks and winter "long johns" like you guys call it here...

Well I've had supper. Was only home for about 16 hrs, we went over both trucks had to put a equalizer on his buggy so wasn't around much of it. It's the worst part of the week for me. Time to push them buttons in and roll. Got a load of Soy on headed to butterball.

OMG! I would not survive the night covered up like that with the heat set at 82! In summer I keep ours at 78, and sleep on top of the covers in just skivvies! And I'm still hot. . .

Well... but you gotta consider a few details... are you a female? Females feel, in general, colder than males... Are you 100 lbs with no fat at all covering your skinny bones? Do you have low blood pressure? Have you been born and raised in a tropical country? :biggrin_25519:

    Oh God I HOPE not!:biggrin_25521:
Wait till you start having "hot flashes!"

Oh yeah, I am 100 lbs. In fact, I'm 100 lbs three times!:biggrin_2557:
Only if I OD on my BP meds. . .:biggrin_25526:
Nope. But I have lived in Phoenix, and in the El Centro area. And in DEATH VALLEY!:biggrin_2554:

But no, I've never experienced the heat plus the humidity of the tropics, or the deep south for that matter. (Lucky Me!):yes2557:
