No east like I said. Since I was on 44 at the time which goes east or west and i was going to be heading east

Actually going Mo 13 to 35 is about 3 miles shorter and would take more time because 13 has traffic lights. I'd rather stick with 44 way.

Finishing up my vacation in Wilmington, NC. Had a great time with my 2 kids, and granddaughters. My youngest granddaughter, 3yoa now, first time I've got to see her. If we could harness the energy she has, there would not be a need for power-plants. She's very smart too.

We've been to the aquarium, and the beach, river front, seeing some of the old buildings downtown, and the Ft. Fisher historical site. Had loads of fun!! We'll be heading back home today, not driving as hard as we did coming down here. That wasn't so much fun. We pushed it, driving straight through. We left our home around 4pm last Saturday, arriving in Wilmington at 10pm on Sunday. About the only extended stops made were at the NC/TN border for white-water rafting, and then to catch a couple of hours of sleep.

We're going to stop in Santa Claus, Indiana for the granddaughter. I'm suppose to return to truckin' on Monday. Stay safe..

We take 13 north from Springfield all the time. I've never been seriously inconvenienced by those lights.
