Friona TX... waiting on the House of Expired Bovines to go kill somethin'. Pete... had lunch at DQ, grocery shoppin' at Lowe's, and have a nice quiet spot at the so-called truckstop. Beats driving all the way up to the stench of Hereford!

Be there early. The Petro in West Memphis is a pay lot these days, but they have security. So does the Love's north of Olive Branch. There's a Flyin' J down that way too. I'd avoid the other truckstops in West Memphis, and the two Pilots over near Olive Branch. I've never had trouble in the outlying truckstops.

Knowing that it is one of your favorite spots, I thought you might have something to say.

You're not alone Zen, however mine is not the clutch. Mine is still throwing fits with low oil pressure. Just had it in the shop within the last couple of months, and was supposed to be fixed. WRONG...

So now here I sit in Salina, truck is in at Foley's. Was suppose to be delivering rock to Great Bend, but had to take this little detour so my truck could see the doc. These mechanics couldn't believe that the highest oil pressure I've seen was only 40psi. Currently it runs around 25-28 psi running down the road, and 15-18psi idling.

I guess the positive thing is I'm in a motel.

Once I did get going I ran 7 delivery tickets.
Had one at 6778# and one at 5176# plus a 100# crate all on the trailer for three stops to finish.

Have a morning item. Pick up a 19# courier bag at Murphy. Have it at Air France by 1PM...

I THINK I can handle that.....
