Ohhh... Utah, WY.... all that nice open area out there... I miss that... But hopefully will be enjoying the road again soon. Today met an old friend of mine... and we had great time together... took him for a ride in my car, sightseeing tourist places, then had a wonderful candle light dinner at a nice restaurant... something that I almost never do... then we walked for 3 miles thru downtown Chattanooga, all the way to riverfront and back... enjoying the nice weather.![]()

A wonderful way to spend the day, Rocks. You sound very happy and light hearted. I can almost see the smile that is brightening your lovely face. ~Hugs~
FloTheWaitress and Rocks Thank this. -
Finally got out of shop at about 9pm, then had to hook up to the trailer in the dark. This truck does not have any lights for the catwalk. Now add to that, another driver parked real, real close making it more difficult. So had to use a flashlight and several attempts to get back under it. Now even though they did get the AC fixed, I still had to drive home with the windows open. Why??? Because the idiot got brake fluid on the inside of the sleeper while replacing a part. It wreaks, was getting a headache while driving home. He also got greasy footprints on the carpet in the sleeper. I had just shampooed it about a week ago.
While waiting for them to get my truck done, I called the boss around 5 or 6 pm. He was not very happy, as MHC KW has been "begging" to get his repair/service business. He said that he does buy almost all parts through them. He's going to chew butt in the morning. He also said that he hopes to get me into the vacant 1yr old KW T800, this weekend. Great, well sort of. I just moved into this one, and us drivers must do all this ourselves. I have an inverter that I must now re-install yet another truck, which takes time. The icing on this cake is this is the weekend of the month we have our granddaughter. Oh of course this is all done at zero, zilch, nada, absolutely no pay. Yep I'll be a slave, masta' cracking his whip
I detest, abhor, and just plain hate this sort of thing. Makes me want to... I'll just leave it there.
So as soon as my 10 is up, I'll be heading out west to Great Bend with a load of that lovely AB3, and trying to cool off the outside.Giggles the Original and teddy_bear6506 Thank this. -
