Rocks! About aching ears. I get that too and what works for me is a really nice wool cap that covers them ears! Mine is a tightly woven one that came from Academy or Sports Authority.

I could not live without it!

    Rocks Thanks this.

Yes Dave... I have all kinds of very warm hoods... and even one that covers my entire face and it has a cut for my eyes... but I don't use it that way cause folks may think I am a robber...:biggrin_25523::biggrin_25511: I used to have very warm ear muffs... those were the best.... I got them at Walmart. But they broke and I can't find another one... :biggrin_2557: Maybe will cover my ears with the hand heating pads and put the hood on top... :biggrin_25519:

This is my 1st winter with short hair, so I believe I may have to find some ear muffs for the cold weather.

I hope you've got everything you need to keep warm tonight. I know from the weather forecast it supposed to be much colder up there than it is here. I don't know if I'll need my electric blankie tonight or not. I've been keeping the thermostat down at night and leaving the the fan on medium and I still haven't had to turn it on.

0001...got back home from playing on Donner today...Truckee was 34 @ 1730, then at 2130, 26! Clear skies so it is going to get down in the teens tonight up there, currently at the house it is 49! No snow up there except for what they are making for the skiers, and what is up on the very tops of the mountains. However, my home town (Ely) made the national news...http://www.reviewjournal.com/news/snow-and-rain-storms-hit-nevada

Load delivers Monday noon in Shafter, then p/u in Bakersfield...no scheduled delivery date/time in Wilsonville...hopefully Wednesday, then most likely a load of Christmas trees coming back down south!

I've noticed with the new Webasto in this truck of mine....I need to fire up the truck and build the battery for a few minutes after running the heater for 6-8 hours. You might check on that as a possible solution.
