Smart, safe baking has only one speed....IDLE....the clutch is your speed/movement control pedal!!
Not much room for error from the looks of it...one big concern will be how soft the grassy areas are...let your steers sink in to deep, now you got a real problem....also the drives and how much (how steep) that water run off depression is away from the paved road surface.
Where Are You....continues........

Looks like a blindside with some angle. I HATE blindside.
-
Personally I'd blind side it and let the trailer wheels run across their lawn if I had to.
-
I will not try to back into there... the street is too narrow... and I will try not to go on the grass of the house in front. Person I talked to said 18 wheelers can enter in there thru that gate. And like I was thinking, they come from south, so the entrance will be on the left hand side. Shall see when I get there.
Blind side in there!!!???
You guys must be kidding, right??
It seems I will be the first truck to arrive... other driver is way behind.... -
So, my friend did come here with her other friend and we went to the beach for a nice walk...

It has been a few years since last time I went to the beach... The air temp was 66 and the water temp was 75
So, I took my shoes off and got my feet and legs wet...
How nice!!
Then we went to the restaurant right in front of the beach and my friends had some food and wine... I had some unsweetened tea... it was a very pleasant time.
Now I'm back in the truck and will have some of my warm meal... Guess will be back at this same service plaza tomorrow cause I have no load after this delivery and my co. will be closed for the holiday... This is if I don't find another place to park tomorrow... -
Keep in mind Rocks...those two saying blind side both have rear window to see out of, and neither of them have 18 wheels. I can't see how you can enter in that gate safely....even if you were able to pull in forward...question remains how do you get out? Again the soil is the issue and the lack of room to swing the tractor around!
Those folks are going to need a pick-up truck to take it off your truck and into the church/home property!Rocks Thanks this. -
No rear window on the truck I blindsided the most with (a lot of Chicago, and usually a 3' overhang of the back of a 53 footer.
I still hold the fact that if you have to use someone's lawn, use the customers, not their neighbors.
Actually come to think of it I've never run a truck with a back window you could see out of.HeWhoMustNotBeNamed, otherhalftw and Rocks Thank this. -
Hey Otter.... just spoke with person who told me 18 wheelers have entered their parking lot thru that gate... nose first... I think I may have to go on the grass of the house across the street cause there's so little room to swing... But shall see when I get there. It's unbelievable the places where my co. goes... Once truck is inside the parking lot, I believe there's enough room to turn truck around... if there's no other vehicle in there... They will want us (the other truck and mine) to be positioned in a certain way... Told them the first challenge will be to put truck in there... safely... The soil... the entrance and the parking lot are paved...
otherhalftw and truckon Thank this. -
I agree with you about running on someone's lawn... But if there's no room to swing, and it seems that will be one option, I will tell them and ask their permission.... otherwise, the truck will be sitting in the middle of the street... there's no shoulder or nothing...truckon Thanks this.

Not knowing all there is to know about trucks I have a question. When you say they have trucks go in nose first, are you saying they have the trucks pull in, rather than back in, the drive?
