Never had the privilege of combat. I read somewhere that something like 60 million citizens served in the armed forces during that period, but only a couple million actually were assigned to units in combat.

What's that got to do with anything? We all took our chances - my military specialty certainly had the propensity for being assigned to the combat zone - Bien Hoa or Da Nang in-country, U Tapao, Ubon, Nhakon Phanom, Tahkli, next door. I could have volunteered to hide under a concrete blast door in Kansas, or on an aircraft carrier at sea. As it was, I was shot at while serving in the Republic of Korea.

 

Trans is out and being looked at. I got the power divider back together and in, it wasn't the problem.

Actually I am... glad I don't have ghosts following me around. I am however, honored to have had the opportunity to serve.
