If you got a multimeter with you, check the alternator output at its terminals. It could very well be some other problem, like a loose ground wire somewhere. Ask me how I know.

Good ride? Every Volvo I've had (I've been in 4 total) has had a horrible ride. Smoothest ride I've had was in a Prostar. Not that I liked the Prostar I had, but it did have a great ride. Went from that truck back into a Volvo, and had a sore neck and shoulders for a few days from all the bouncing. I'm used to it now.

In Lancaster, TX heading to Sibley, LA.

And I got to watch a video of myself driving yesterday morning.

Waiting at the Lake Point T/A (UT...MM 99) for the magic 1230 time to chime so I can put on some fuel.....

turns out this company had a problem with drivers overbuying...or should I say selling off...fuel purchased on the company card...so they put a $600.00 limit every 24 hour period....not midnight reset but 24 hours from time of purchase....sucks for the honest drivers and really messes with schedule.

Get fuel topped off and then get on down to New Castle, CO for 0800 delivery Wed. Hopefully the snow on the top of US 6 will have gone down the drain ditch by the time I get there. Snowing like a beeotch over Donner yesterday...from Nyack through Sparks...then hit and miss across NV......laughing all the way...all the white knuckle rookies playing in the snow! Just wet highways but visibility was limited at times.
