    Hey Injun.....

You could have been here right beside me (the trucks people...the trucks) if your CSR's could figure out what information to get and give to the drivers!

Golly shucks...that's a completely new concept.....and logical....so it won't fit in the transportation industry!

Well, the morning thing was a CSR issue. They didn't make an appointment and wasted five hours for me. The afternoon thing was the customer. I had the right number all along, but the nincumpoops in the shipping office wouldn't take it. Until I had one of our CSRs on the phone and he finally took it from her. The same number I tried to give an hour and a half previously.

So...six and a half hours that will never be mine again due to clerical errors.

Reporting for duty...as soon as I can get a ride to the truck. Have to retrain myself, get caught up in the logbook, qualcom and wait......hopefully not too long. Would really like to start on the dayshift....pleeeeeassse:biggrin_25520:
Ohio has bee fun. Have met new grandchild, spent quality family time...butchered a golf course, lost more brain cells and made no money. Besides the miracle of new life, I came with a backpack and a sack of dirty clothes...leaving with a backpack, sack of dirty clothes and 9 sacks of stuff....hmmmmm is that like loaves and fishes?:biggrin_2554:

Congrats on the grandbaby, JimBob. Meeting new people is always fun. Especially when it's a baby. And more especially when you can say that baby is related to you.

Grandchildren are special because you get to have all the fun and then send 'em home to their parents to straighten out. Now you have a shot at getting even with your child for bein' a brat.

Troutdale Oregon. Unload at 11:30 in Portland, then take a slow ride to Salinas to load the wagon for the East Coast.
