Des Moines, IA....and glad to be here.

Twice in the last two days, I have been no more than one minute behind a 4-wheeler wreck. Yesterday in Dallas, a Lincoln Navigator lost its utility trailer, which ended up in the hammer lane. Then today, going through KC, an old Dodge Caravan hit the inside guardrail and went all the way back to the right shoulder. Don't know what caused it, but I was no more than a minute behind them both, as traffic hadn't even started backing up due to either incident.

I'm headed to Iowa City, then on to Michigan.
