If your coolant is going into the motor and you don't get it taken care of, you may wind up taking an earlier and longer vacation than you bargained for. Coolant going through the turbo, exhaust and DPF will cost you far more downtime than you can imagine. Also, allowing it to continue may void the warranty. Now, I know that's not a big consequence to a company driver, but anything that goes against your company's bottom line will cost the employees in the long run.
Fewer and lower raises, smaller bonuses, or, if the company had planned on bonuses, perhaps none at all...smaller investments in driver appreciation awards...smaller payment into health insurance premiums, costing you more out of pocket...slower equipment upgrades...less money for facilities upkeep... All of this affects you directly. Just sayin. -
Sitting in Iowa at small TS. Got passed by meatwagon with lights blinking, on I80..he proceeded in leading me down off ramp and into the TS. Seems there was a trucker not feeling well. Said prayers all goes ok as he was transported. He was locomoting without stretcher.
On another note...heading for teatown Mass. Anybody know of decent TS along I 90 or maybe a less expensive motel that I can pull a 34 reset prior to delivery?
Thanks! -
Pride Travel Center in Chicopee, exit 6 isn't too bad. Get there early.

sounds like it !!
Schreiber Foods Green Bay, WI branch....
no pre plan yet, bummer.. -
Smithfield VA... at a place that is definitely less commodious than just about anywhere I can think of.

I'll agree with that - the Pride T/S is where I'd do a 34. The restaurant is good, and there's a McD's across the street. Plenty of parking, but it does fill up quickly after dark.JimBob24 Thanks this.

Still trying figure out if 34 is possible...it is going to be tight. Nice challenge. Thanks for the info.

Thanks Dogknot.
I checked that thread and google map that Sam's and the WalMart nearby on I-80 xt 130. But I ended up coming to the business that I had in mind first. They have a big, clean, quiet parking lot... They are only 20 mins away from where I p/up tomorrow. I AM SOOOO HAPPY I came here... Saw two daycab drivers dropping and hooking when I arrived here and asked them if it would be ok to park overnight and they said, no problem.... YEAH!!!!!!
Now I just hope they don't kick me out before 8:00 est. Want to wait till I get my 10 hr...
